Hey there.

Great work guys! This is amazing!  =)))

But I wonder. WIll the plugin work in Maya 2008? It not, when well we see a compiled version for it?

Also wonder what your plans on 64 bit is? I mean, the plugin is fast as hell on 32 bit. But still annoying that you need to have two mayas installed. =/

It did, as expected, not work in 2008.

hi,

yes, I confirm there's a problem: the installation says "maya 2008 wa found" but it hangs up with en error message later on. This only happens when trying to install the Maya2008 version. I tried with the latest version 3.04F.

The error message says:
error opening file for writing:
$MAYA_2008_DIR\scripts\AETemplates\AEcolladafxpassesTemplate.mel

I checked out the regedit for MAYA_INSTALL_LOCATION, and it's ok. I also checked out my writing permission in that folder, and it's ok.

bye,

Oh... The installation works for me. But I get the usual error that you get with "old" plugs in new versions... "Plug-in not compiled with this version of the API"... Or what the error phrase now is... SO it has to be recompiled with the Maya 2008 API...
