maya 2008, Collada Maya and OSX Leopard

Heya folks. Thanks for any help you can offer with this, I'm really enjoying exploring Collada and Flash at work, and I'm looking forward to getting some of my Maya models exported to it.
First up, I'm on Maya 2008, Nvidia CG 2.0, OSX Leopard 10.5.2.
I've looked through the forum and seen similar problems to mine, but not specifically my problem. I'm getting the old familiar error:
// Error: dlopen(/Users/Shared/Autodesk/maya/2008/plug-ins/COLLADA.bundle, 1): Symbol not found: __ZN10MPxCommand6redoItEv
Referenced from: /Users/Shared/Autodesk/maya/2008/plug-ins/COLLADA.bundle
Expected in: /Users/Shared/Autodesk/maya/2008/plug-ins/COLLADA.bundle
(COLLADA) //
Reading around I'm guessing part of my problem might be that I'm running CG 2.0 rather than the 1.5 version of CGUtils? Problem is, 1.5 is only compiled for OSX Tiger, and the installer won't launch under Leopard.
Does anyone know if 2.0 would be my problem? Or is it something else?

Hi,
Indeed, the Mac OSX binaries have been compiled against version 1.5 of the Cg library.
Your best bet would be to open the XCode projects for ColladaMaya, tweak the project settings to use Cg 2.0, and compile it. If you decide to do this, let us know how it goes!
Sincerely,

Has anyone figured this out? I'm on leopard, with maya 2008 as well. I get that same error in Maya when I try to load the plugin.
I've downloaded the source for the ColladaMaya plugin, and FCollada src and I'm trying to compile with XCode. I managed to compile the FCollada libs, but the plug in is not compiling and exits with 88 some errors. Where can I find more information on compiling this plugin for Mac? Thanks

I would be very interested in that as well. I had a look at those settings in Xcode, but could not find anything thats refers to that lib.
I also tried to manually install the 1.5 lib, by looking in the pakage of the 1.5 installer which does not work with Leopard. I put those files in places like /System/Library/frameworks, /usr/bin and user/share and chowned them.
But that unfortuanatly had no effekt.
