Feeling Software is pleased to release major version 3.05A of our COLLADA Tools.

This version introduces many changes in the FCollada library to make UI and scripting possible and easy. There are also a few additional inter-operability fixes between the main COLLADA tools, with regards to texture placement parameters and the spot light parameters.

It also includes many minor bug fixes and reading the release note, before upgrading, is strongly recommended. You can download the COLLADA Tools here.

COLLADA Tools 3.04E Released

Feeling Software is pleased to release a new build of our COLLADA Tools: 3.04E.

This new version introduces a couple of new features: ColladaMax now exports animation layers, as COLLADA animation clips. ColladaMotionBuilder now exports texture placement parameters.

This new version of the COLLADA tools includes many important fixes for ColladaMotionBuilder and upgrading is strongly recommended. It also includes minor fixes for ColladaMaya, ColladaMax and FCollada: please read the changelog before upgrading.

Montreal COLLADA Summit

Hello everyone!

I will be representing Feeling Software at the Montreal COLLADA Summit. Hosted by SoftImage on the 21st of September 2007, this event will discuss art asset pipelines and COLLADA. Feeling Software and other Khronos members that participate in the COLLADA working group will be showing demos of cool COLLADA technologies. There'll also be a panel and a presentation that will discuss art asset pipelines.
