Executive Bios
Christian Laforte, President & CEO
Christian is the President and CEO of Feeling Software. He founded the company in 2005 with his brother Guillaume after obtaining a decade of experience in the software engineering and 3D graphics industry.
Since beginning his career in this field working for a video gaming company at age 17, Christian has held progressive roles at top companies in the high-tech and software arenas. In 2004, as Director of R&D for Dakis Decision Systems, Christian led a team in creating e-commerce solutions that combined artificial intelligence, 3D, speech and mobile platforms, and scalable databases. Prior to this, Christian developed 3D graphics software at industry leading companies such as ATI Research (now AMD) in Boston, Massachusetts, Alias (now Autodesk) in Toronto, Ontario, and Sanyo Electric in Osaka, Japan. Christian was also fortunate enough to share in an Academy Award in 2002 as he led a team at Alias in developing a hardware-accelerated 3D graphics renderer in Maya.
Christian holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.
Guillaume Laforte, Vice President of R&D
As co-founder and Vice-President of Research & Development, Guillaume leads the engineering team and is at the helm of Feeling Software’s research efforts. Guillaume’s responsibilities include project management and planning, as well as software engineering. Guillaume possesses a strong background in software development in the video game industry, having held roles at Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Alias (now Autodesk).
Guillaume holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo.
