Christian Laforte, President & CEO
Christian Laforte is the President and CEO of Feeling Software, which he co-founded with his brother Guillaume in 2005 to solve complex real-life problems using their expertise in 3D graphics software development.
While his responsibilities include managing the company’s financing and strategic growth, he continues to maintain a focus on his passion: integrating and creating new high-technology solutions to solving critical physical security problems. Since 2008, he has consulted on high-profile projects including city- and state-wide information-sharing initiatives, the protection of military bases, palaces, mass transit systems and large universities in the USA, Asia, Middle East and Canada.
During the early years of Feeling Software, Christian negotiated and helped successfully deliver over 50 mission-critical custom-engineering projects for more than 30 clients including Google, Sony, Apple and Autodesk. Before Feeling Software, he spent ten formative years as a software engineer and manager at industry-leading companies including AMD (formerly ATI Research), Autodesk (formerly Alias), Sanyo Electric and Dakis Decision Systems. One highlight of Christian’s early career is the Academy Award (Oscar) he received with his team for their contribution to the Maya software, the industry standard for 3D special effects in the movie industry.
Christian is a software engineering graduate of the École Polytechnique de Montréal and a co-inventor of 3 patents applying advanced 3D technologies to physical security.
Richard Singer, Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Richard’s responsibilities focus on growing and developing sales opportunities for Feeling Software’s security related products. Richard has a successful history of developing key partner and re-seller relationships, management and customer relations. Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Marketing from Concordia University in Montreal.
Guillaume Laforte, Vice President of R&D
As co-founder and Vice-President of Research & Development, Guillaume leads the engineering team and is at the helm of Feeling Software’s research efforts. Guillaume’s responsibilities include project management and planning, as well as software engineering. Guillaume possesses a strong background in software development in the video game industry, having held roles at Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Alias (now Autodesk).
Guillaume holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Joshua Koopferstock, Vice President - Product Strategy
As Vice President of Product Strategy, Joshua's responsibilities include overseeing marketing and product management. A geek at heart, Joshua possesses a background in marketing and finance. He is the co-inventor of one filed patent application.
Joshua holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from McGill University.
