iGuard accesses videos through 3rd party video recorders (see our list of partners), and makes them available over Wi-Fi and 3G to authorized security personnel.

iGuard has two components: a server and the iPod Touch or iPhone devices.  The server, a standard, off-the-shelf PC, pulls the video feeds from the 3rd party video recorder and optimizes them for the iPod devices.

The optimized feeds are then encrypted and sent out over the Wi-Fi and 3G cellular network, where authorized iPod Touch and iPhone devices can access them remotely.
