iGuard accesses videos through Omnicast and makes them available over Wi-Fi and 3G to authorized security personnel.

iGuard has two components: a server and the iPod Touch or iPhone devices.  The server, a standard, off-the-shelf PC, pulls the video feeds from the Omnicast Directory server and optimizes them for the iPod devices.

The optimized feeds are then encrypted and sent out over the Wi-Fi and 3G cellular network, where authorized iPod Touch and iPhone devices can access them remotely.
