City-Wide Surveillance

How do you effectively monitor a vast area with cameras placed throughout a city?  Omnipresence provides the necessary tools to monitor video from a macro city-wide view, all the way down to street-level.

Omnipresence is a system designed for scalability, being able to handle thousands of feeds simultaneously.  We provide the continuous context as an operator zooms out to monitor an entire area, or zooms in to see the entrance of one building.  Omnipresence also makes it evident at a glance exactly which areas of a city have video coverage (or which a PTZ camera can see if repositioned), and which areas are not covered.

Additionally, Omnipresence can be used to keep a visual lock on a vehicle or person with a GPS tracking device.  Taking in GPS coordinates, Omnipresence will automatically position any PTZ cameras in an area to follow the tracked subject.  This can be used to follow emergency services vehicles, or track a criminal suspect.  Omnipresence also tracks geographic coordinates provided by cell phone triangulation, in cases where law enforcement has a warrant for this tracking information.

Using industry standards, Omnipresence can make use of existing 3D data created by a city’s urban planning department as the basis for the 3D map.

Omnipresence Surveillance System integrates directly with existing Video Management Systems, and requires no specialized hardware; Omnipresence needs only one standard PC to unify hundreds of video feeds.
